It was a day before National Daywhich was on 8th August 2009. My father drove the whole family to Lower Pierce Reservior to catch prawns, fishes and lobsters.
At about 6p.m., we reached the reservior. We found a shady spot and laid our mat. I got thebaite which is bread, my pail and the net.I was lucky to find a good spot where I can catch because there many tiny prawns there. It was quite difficult to catch the prawns as they sawn very fast. There also many big rocks which we can sit on it while fishing. I went to get a fresh bread.
After taking the fresh bread, I found a 2 LOBSTERS and a SOON HOCK FISH. I was uneable to catch the lobsters and the soon hock fish, but my father helped me to catch the soon hock fish.The lobster were difficult to catch because they are usally hinding in the holes and do not want to come out. At fisrt, I realised that there was something like a rock but it isn't. so I tried to poke it using my stick and found it soft. After further looking, I realised it was a fish and I called my father. My father came and helped nme, We managed to catch the fish. While I was catching the lobsters, my father went to look for another place to catch fish. After the long catching, my father finally caught a Japanese Fish.
We put the Soon Hock fish in a container and it suddenly jumped out. At about 7p.m. we went home. My brother and I had so much fun and we had an enjoyable day.

NE Show
It was 11th July(Saturday) as the whole level of Primary 5 was brought the the Marina Bay floating platform to watch the NE Show.After having my breakfast, I walked to school.We have to reach school by 1.30pm so I went to school earlier on 1.00pm. It was so boring in the school hall as we left school at around 3.30pm, but I still can enjoy the air-con in the hall. From 1.30pm- 3.30pm there was a short briefing.
At 3.30pm, the bus finally came.We have to take our goodie pack and our lunch which is Macdoanld. It took about half an hour to reach the Platform.After reaching the platform, it was so sunny that I was sweating. At the platform, we sat on the yellow seats. We waitied for very long , for the other schools to come.I was hugry but I did not eat my Macdoanld, because it is for my dinner. The show started on about 6.00pm. The sun shore brightly, but after that, a drizzle started. I quickly took out my poncho and put it on. It was so warm in the poncho. After a while, the drizzle stopped. The show started. It started off that the four MCs came out.
At first, it was boring but after that it became interesting.At about 7.00pm I than had my dinner. After eating the Hamburger, I was stilll hungry. I bear with I.During that time, ladys and men would come out and the will sing. Aaron and friends were sitting behide me. They too sang along. They sounded out of tune.
During the part when we were singing the Natinal Anthem,I started to drizzle again. That was the third time. I did not care and did nothing. Suddenly it rained heavily. I quickly rushed into my poncho. Then my friend Tan Le Yi, also rushed into the poncho, but it was my poncho. She came into my poncho. There were holes in the poncho. Water came in from the holes and I got wet. It was very difficult to get my umbrella out of my bag as it was sharing the poncho with Le Yi.
Finally I got out my umbrella but it was also difficult to open it because I have to Put my hand through the hole to open.
After opening the umbrella, we took out the poncho. Many of my classmates were wet in the rain. Our teacher in charge of our class, Mr Khoo, is also enjoying the rain. He did not even take out his umbrella or his poncho.It was difficult to pick up the litters on the floor and it was also difficult to get out.
On the bus, it was so cold. After reaching the school, I went home. I had a shower and ate a bowl of noodles as I was so hungry.

Earth Hour
1. What is Earth Hour?
Ans:I think it is a time to save the earth.
2. When is it held this year?
Ans: It is held on 28th of March this year.
3. Why do you think people are organising this event?
Ans: They want to save the earth from Global Warming.
4. What will everyone be doing during Earth Hour?
Ans: Switching off all the lights.
5. What other activities can you organise with your family and friends during Earth Hour?
Ans: By saving electricity .
6. What are the other problems the Earth is facing?
Ans:Earth is also facing some kind of pollutions.

Ans: We can reused, reduced and recycle.

My March Holiday
It was fun as I went to the Zoo. I went there after my tuition by bus. My cousins and aunt where there too! We saw my of the animals such as Otters, Tapin, Babirusa, White tiger, Flamingo and many others. I also watched an animal show. The show was very interesting. After the show, we when to the Children's World Play Land to play. We played the slides and the water. After the play, we when home.
Fire Safety

Social Studies Learning Journey
On Friday, 7th February, the whole class went on a trip to Old Ford Factory and Bukit Chandu. We went to Old Ford Factory first before going to Bukit Chandu.
At 8.15a.m., we quickly set of for Old Ford Factory. It was the first time that the girls sat at the last row of the bus including me. It was rather borading in the bus but I also listen some song with Hanna using her phone.We reach there about half an hour. We watched a video clip in the Old Ford Factory AV Theatre.Inside the theatre was very cold. The video show us about the World War in the past. It tell us that the Japanese took over Malaya within 55 days and took Singapore within 7 days. There is a lady which also tell us the past and brought us around the factory. After a long time showing us the pictures and the stroies about the past, She brought us outside to show us what are the useful plant in the past.
Then, we thanked her and took the bus to Bukit Chandu. In the bus, I ate my bread which I broght this morning to school as I was very hungry. So we reached the place. Although I came here before, but I wanted to go again. We entered the Reflections at Bukit Chandu. We also listened to the talked of the World War. We went to a small theatre where we watched the vedio of how Lt Adnan died. The video was very interesting.
It was12.25p.m. We need to go home so we went backto school. I had an unforgetable day.

Chinese New Year
Yesterday was Chinese New Year! I was very excited. My father drove the whole family to my grandmother's house.At about fifteen minutes, we reach my grandmother's house. All of my cousins and relatives were all there.I got some Ang Baos from my aunts and uncles.There were many delicious foods in the kitchen and Chinese New Year Gooodies. My cousins and I played some games. We reach home at about six in the evening.I had awonderful day at my grandmother house.

November and December Holidays
During the December holidays, my father brought the whole family to TiTi Eco Farm in Negri Sembilan (Malaysia) for two days one night stay. This was organised by Yio Chu Kang Community Club.
We depart Singapore at around 6.00a.m.When we arrived at Malaysia, we stop at Johor Baru for breakfast.After that,we when to the farm.Upon arrived Eco Resort Farm,Organic lunch was serve in the resort.There were many vegetables, fish and chicken.The food were delicious. After lunch,we ceckinto the resort. We were free at own leisure at the time. The weather was warm so I went to take a bath. I was surprised that the water was very cold as they do not have heaters there so I was freezing cold. after drying and wearing my clothes, I went to the bolcony.The scenere outside was beautiful. I also took some photos. There was a small little playground so my brother,father and me play with the swing while my mother was looking how to bake your own wholemeal bread and lisenteningto 6211 heathy concept seminar talks on organic farming.
Next, we followed atour guided to visits the organic herb farming.By the time,itisabout dinner time.We ate different vegetables and meat.Then, we are given a wishing sky-lantern and was asked to write our wishes on the lantern. We lighted our lantern and see it fly up in the sky. Ater that ,we carried a small lantern and went to look for fireflies.The fireflies were small but bright. We have our supper and went to bed.
The next day, we quickly checkout and proceeded back to Singpore. This was my first time living in a farm. I was very happy.
